Our Roots
Silver Spoons Catering & Events is built on a family tradition of hospitality that spans more than a century.
In the early 1900s, our great-grandfather immigrated from Greece through Ellis Island and eventually settled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, where he opened a restaurant and candy kitchen. His business became a gathering place where neighbors shared meals, celebrated milestones, and connected with one another. Through his example, our family learned that food is about much more than what is on the plate. It is about bringing people together.
Those values were passed down through generations.

A Company Is Born
In 2005, our mother, Denise, founded Silver Spoons Catering & Events. Encouraged by her children and inspired by a lifelong passion for great food and great people, she turned decades of hospitality experience into a company dedicated to creating memorable events. With more than 30 years in the restaurant and service industry, she understood that exceptional food and genuine hospitality have the power to make every gathering feel special.
What began as a small family business quickly grew through referrals, loyal clients, and a reputation for treating every event as if it were our own.

The Next Generation
Eleven years ago, sisters Julia and Laura took over the company with a commitment to honoring the foundation their mother built while continuing to grow and evolve the business. Today, Silver Spoons proudly serves weddings, corporate events, celebrations of life, holiday parties, and special occasions throughout Colorado.
Although much has changed over the years, our purpose remains the same. We believe gathering around food with friends, family, and colleagues is one of the best parts of life. Every menu we create, every buffet we design, and every event we serve is guided by a simple goal: helping people create meaningful memories around the table.
From a Greek immigrant’s restaurant and candy kitchen in North Carolina to thousands of celebrations across Colorado, our family’s story has always been rooted in hospitality, generosity, and the joy of sharing a great meal.

Honors We Didn’t See Coming
This year, Silver Spoons was honored with two awards, and I’ll be honest, it caught us by surprise. We have always poured our energy into creating beautiful events and taking great care of our clients, not into chasing recognition.
To us, these awards belong just as much to the families who have trusted us with their weddings, milestones, and everything in between. Thank you for inviting us to your table.
